Late last year Nvidia closed the year by launching a GPU product with Volta architecture for prosumer under the name Titan Series. Once reviewed by external media, it is found that this card is arguably the fastest consumer class card especially for activities related to Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning thanks to the presence of Tensor Core in it. Now there is a gaming GPU that will be introduced with the Turing name code.

Turing Nvidia Titan V Volta

The product with the Volta architecture is as the name suggests launched under the Titan Series which means Nvidia, although it can, does not expect Titan V cards to be used for gaming purposes. Then, then many are also asking when the GPU with Volta architecture will be present for the game that brings GeForce in front of him? There are even rumors that Nvidia will skip the Volta architecture for the gaming class, because even now the GTX 1080 Ti is still unbeaten as the best gaming GPU to buy (if supplies still exist). So there are rumors circulating that GeForce will then use the Ampere architecture.

But it seems like you do not have to wait any longer, because based on what the author of the Reuters, GPU gaming will be introduced next month (March) with the code name Turing. Turing itself is not a code name of architecture, but more like a product name code or SKU. Regarding the architecture, it remains a mystery whether it will still carry the enhanced Pascal architecture, using the Volta architecture, or perhaps the new Ampere architecture? We can only wait.
